National Finals (Challenge Trophy)

Towards the end of the summer, each region will select players into one or more women’s and men’s teams to represent their region at the National Finals (Challenge Trophy). Team selections and any training sessions will be coordinated by the Regional Leads. The final venue and day (Saturday and/or Sunday) will be announced by Touch Switzerland as early as possible.

For both the men’s and women’s teams, there will be 2 training blocks and 2 or 3 games.

  • 10:00am – 10:15am: Players meeting
  • 10:15am – 11:15am: Training block 1
  • 11:15am – 11:30am: Game 1
  • 11:40am – 11:55am: Game 2
  • 12:05pm – 12:20pm: Game 3
  • 12:20pm – 1:00pm: Lunch break
  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Training block 2
  • 2:00pm – 2:15pm: Game 4
  • 2:25pm – 2:40pm: Game 5
  • 2:50pm – 3:05pm: Game 6
  • 3:10pm – 3:35pm: Optional full game
  • 3:15pm: Prize giving/After tournament social

Touch Switzerland is not officially organizing teams. However it will support self-organized teams

The new event will feature open’s grade representative teams in men’s, women’s and mixed categories from National Touch Organisations (NTOs) across Europe and further afield.

This new event in the international calendar will feature senior and master grade representative teams in men’s, women’s and mixed categories from National Touch Organisations (NTOs) across Europe and further afield.

Both the men’s and women’s teams will have two training blocks. The women’s division will play four 20-minute games, while the men will play three 30-minute games.

  • 10:30am – 11:00am: Women’s game 1
  • 11:00am – 11:40pm: Men’s game 1

For both the men’s and women’s teams, there will be 2 training blocks and 3 games. Each game will be 15 minute halves. We will then finish with a Mixed game for anyone who still wants to play.

  • 9:30am – 9:45am: Captains/Ref/Players meeting
  • 9:45am – 10:45am: Training block 1 in half field
  • 10:45am – 11:20am: Women’s game 1
  • 11:25am – 12:00pm: Men’s game 1
  • 12:05pm – 12:40pm: Women’s game 2
  • 12:45pm – 1:15pm: Lunch break
  • 1:15pm – 2:10pm: Training block 2 in half field
  • 2:15pm – 2:50pm: Men’s game 2
  • 2:50pm – 3:25pm: Women’s game 3
  • 3:30pm – 4:05pm: Men’s game 3
  • 4:10pm – 4:45pm: Optional Mixed game or extra women’s game
  • 4:10pm or 5pm: Prize giving/After tournament social
    • If the weather is good: We will hang out at the pitch and have a drink afterwards – so bring along whatever you would like to eat/drink
    • If the weather is less good: We will find a bar to go to.
