2026 Atlas Swiss Cup – information for clubs and players

The 2026 Atlas Swiss Cup season is all about COMMUNITY.

Dates and locations

The competition will run across two divisions, with both divisions competing on the same dates at the same venues:

  • Saturday 29 August in Zürich
  • Sunday 13 September in Basel
  • Saturday 26 September in Lausanne
  • Saturday 10 October in Bern

Participation

Division 1

Previously known as the National Division, Division 1 follows the standard Mixed Touch rules and is open to the following five clubs based on their 2025 results:

  • Basel Touch
  • Geezers Zürich
  • LUC Lakers
  • Touch Rugby Bern
  • Zug Touch

For Division 1 the competition will run across all four competition dates, with accumulated points feeding into finals (exact format to follow).

    Division 2

Division 2 is a social competition played under relaxed Mixed Touch rules. It is open to:

    • all other clubs
    • second teams from Division 1 clubs
    • individual players
    • Barbarians or combined teams

    Registration and payment

    Division 1

All five Division 1 clubs (see list above) have paid team fees in advance to confirm their participation across all four dates. Clubs will inform players directly regarding who is selected into their Division 1 team for each competition date.

    Division 2

Division 2 is designed to be as inclusive as possible.

All players taking part in Division 2 must register individually through the Touch Switzerland website.

    In order to register:
    1. Log in at https://touchswitzerland.ch/login (or register for an account if you don’t already have one).
    2. If not automatically redirected, go to https://touchswitzerland.ch/welcome-back/ and join the group ‘SwissCup1 Zürich Division 2 (29.08.2026)’, which is at the bottom of that page.

The registration fee will be CHF 15 per player. Following the registration deadline (23 August), clubs will be invoiced based on the number of registered players and can choose whether or not to pass on the cost to their players. Individuals without a club in Switzerland will be asked for payment directly.

Where required, Touch Switzerland will work with clubs and individual players to facilitate the formation of Barbarians and combined teams, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Let’s make this a season of great Touch, new connections, and a celebration of the growing Swiss Touch community. Thank you to our sponsors, Atlas International Movers.
